It seems that St. Petersburg will soon finally turn into the “most innovative-ankdotic” city, eclipsing even the notorious Skolkovo. In the memory of the townspeople, the idea of Valentina Matvienko is still alive. Now, apparently, there is another round of struggle for innovation. The struggle of merciless and, often, meaningless. It is enough to recall the complete impotence of the contractors during the construction of the stadium on Krestovsky Island, which was positioned as «the most modern in the world». As a result, in a city where Zenit is perhaps an official religion, there is neither a new stadium, nor, apparently, in this guilty “innovators”.
