The Altai Union of Entrepreneurs celebrates the temporary one, but still victory over officials in increasing the unified tax on imputed income (UTII). But the most important battles are still ahead. Representatives of the leadership of Barnaul, led by Mayor Igor Savintsev, sought to make the UTII to become higher than 15%. However, in the City Duma the proposal of officials was not supported. The most optimal option was considered the creation of a working group that will delve into the problem in detail. On the issue of revising by the authorities of some coefficients that would affect the growth of UTII next year, they repeatedly discussed in the business circles of Barnaul. The Altai Union of Entrepreneurs (ASP), headed by the chairman of Yuri Fritz, first restrained the desire of the city leadership. But the latter still managed to raise the question at the session of the City Duma. In fact, on the eve of the meeting, ASP openly raised deputies not to support the growth of UTII, as tax growth may not lead to an increase in payments to the city budget, but a decrease in business activity of entrepreneurs. Some will even prefer to go into the shadow. The position of the Barnaul administration, however, is also quite understandable: the budget is already experiencing an acute shortage of funds, and also the authorities of the region press on the patient, they say, the municipality does not use all the possibilities to replenish the treasury. An increase in ENDV by 15% would increase the budget by 25 million rubles. Be that as it may, but officials are not trying to use obvious options for replenishing the treasury, without switching to the UDB. As an alternative, for example, it was proposed to streamline tax fees from the delivery of housing with individuals. You can also work on a patent system, providing at least not a very high tax level on it, or, as an option, to charge small payments from private taxi drivers. Andrei Solodilov, the head of the Budget Committee of the City Duma, explained the decision to send the issue of refinement by the fact that it was originally not taken into account, for example, the social orientation of the business, did not take into account the fact that some businessmen have not very high income from their business. In any case, the tax must be raised — the businessmen themselves understand this, but how and to whom — there is no exact answer yet. In the meantime, it was decided to create a working group, which will include deputies of the City Duma, representatives of the leadership of Barnaul, and businessmen, and tax authorities. Most likely she will be headed by the mentioned Andrei Solodilov. In the meantime, Altai entrepreneurs can independently find out how to switch to UTII and write an application for registration of UTII, as well as consult here with competent Internet specialists.
