If you are going to cover the roof of your construction with slate, then you must first conduct a visual examination and know that before operation the slate sheets must be covered with special construction acrylic paint. This will help maintain the structure of the slate when getting wet. Roofing should begin with insulation and waterproofing of the roof. You can achieve both one and the other with glass wool and oilcloths (you can use other improvised means). A slight sagging should be done on the oilcloth to provide ventilation of the insulation.
