Step 5 — Cut the hot wires
Connect the hot wires to their corresponding hot wires for the alternating current disconnector. Make sure you are using caps and an electrician tape to seal wires. As soon as the wires are connected and the switch is fixed on the wall, return the main power and check the switch to make sure that it works correctly.
