Participants discussed the issues of legal regulation in the industry in the aspect of instructions of the President of the Russian Federation adopted following the meeting of the Presidium of the State Council of the Russian Federation in Ulan-Ude in April of this year. Among other bills, amendments to the Forest Code are being prepared on the return of bankruptcy procedures that grant the right to forest use to business entities, on the creation of a unified state automated information system for monitoring round timber in the country, as well as a special service for protecting and reproducing forests.
