For many centuries, reed roofs have been used in Ukraine to cover houses, as it is accessible, beautiful, reliable and, of course, environmental material. The undoubted advantages are that this type of roof is universal, it performs the functions of both the roof and the ceiling, which reliably protects from the cold in the winter and from the heat in the summer. Kamysh has the excellent flexibility of its own stems, which allows you to realize any flight of imagination regarding the shapes and design of the roof. There are some tips regarding the construction and operation of reed roofs. An acceptable bias of this type of roof is considered to be an angle, at least 37 degrees, and given the nature of windows and cornices in the roof, it is necessary to take into account the depth and type of coating.
