The use of aspen in folk medicine.
Since ancient times, people have known about the beneficial properties of aspen. They believed that the wood of this tree could dump all evil spirits, and therefore propagated the front door for the night with an aspen stake. And if someone was sick in the house, then his laundry was hung on an aspen branch in the hope that the tree would take all diseases and weaknesses. But more often more traditional methods of treatment with the help of a purified aspen bark were used, and specifically its leaves and kidneys.
