The process of creating a log house based on a log of the galinded occurs quite quickly, but the full construction cycle can stretch for many months. After the first stage of construction (walls, ceilings and foundation) is completed, a log house needs a break, the duration of which should be from 6 to 10 months. Ideally, this break should be in the autumn-winter time. The house should experience the influence of the wind and snow load, go through the shrinkage stage. During the shrinkage, the moisture content of wood can be reduced by five times. Installation of door and windows blocks is allowed solely after the shrinkage is completed.
