Ceramic sinks are produced either from plumbing porcelain or from plumbing faience. It contains significantly more clay and it is processed at lower temperatures. The main components of the earthen mass (Schliere) are white -burning clay, kaolin, burned silicon or quartz sand and field sleeper.
