The cleaning principle is as follows: under the influence of ultraviolet, toxic impurities are oxidized and decomposed on the photocatalytic surface of the filter. At the same time, the organic of the impurities does not accumulate, but decomposes into elementary components — water and carbon dioxide. The most successful air cleaners with a photocatalytic filter are produced by the Japanese company Daikin.
