Usually, after pouring concrete, it is shrinkable-a decrease in the size and volume of materials due to the fact that they are lost a certain percentage of moisture, its hardening and other chemical processes. The shrinkage of concrete usually occurs during its hardening in the air as a result of evaporation of water from cement stone. When the concrete is laid in soil without formwork, the soil density is usually taken into account for a given construction site, and depending on the density of the soil, the cement consumption may increase from 10 to 15% of the volume of the foundation that was calculated.
