Metallurgy is one of the few sectors of our industry, which can compete on equal terms with foreign competitors. Indeed, ferrous metal in millions of tons is smelted in three shifts at the main metallurgical enterprises of the country. The competition in this market has recently ruined for all conceivable limits. Moreover, the main player in the market is Ukraine, or rather, its metallurgical and metal rolling companies. The same Privat from Little Ukraine moved its interests not somewhere, but in the United States, where the privatization of ferroalloys’ production of ferroalloys began with the light hand of this company. Otherwise, as aggressive, the policy of the Ukrainian company is not called. Given its weight in the ferroalloy market (up to 14% of all world production) and the speed of absorption of assets of these enterprises in the United States, many analysts have already become alarm. Indeed, the ferromagnetic industry of the most powerful economy of the world turns into …Ukrainian. Nothing is heard about the policy of this group of companies in Russia. We have a fairly strong sector of ferromagnetic production, and other industries using manganese — alloyed, structural steels, high -quality Wani welding electrodes and other, which the owners do not intend to give, taking into account their prospects and very high profitability, which only increases every year. Indeed, the same Ukrainian concern in the near future will be left without its own raw materials — in the Ordzhonikidze and Marganetsky GOKs raw materials and concentrate after a few years will run out for industrial production, and today’s quality is extremely low. Perhaps it is with this factor that such an aggressive policy of a group of enterprises from a small country in the huge market of the first economy of the world is associated. An example of the first project of this Ukrainian project is CC Metals & Allloys, leader of the US Ferroalloy Production. There will be more further. And in our country, the growth rate of ferroalloy production is only growing. Ural enterprises are gradually entering the world market, bypassing bureaucratic obstacles associated with the WTO and great restrictions for countries that are not included. High -tech products, welding products (the same Wani electrodes for high -quality steels) and much more are more and more exported. Perhaps the pace is not so and large, but it should be noted that just ten years ago even with the export of steels, Russia experienced serious difficulties, not to mention color alloy. And now, even those countries that, according to agreements signed as WTO participants, cannot acquire Russian steel, can not be acquired outside the WTO zone.
