In the approaching 2012, the Republic of Bashkortostan from the federal budget is planned to allocate at least 2.223 billion rubles for the educational sphere as part of the Modernization of Education program. The Minister of Education of Bashkiria Alfis Gayazov informed those present at a press conference on November 25. Deputy Chairman of the State Assembly — Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan Lilia Gumerova explained that when calculating the required amount for financing the industry, the degree of budget support and the total number of children in a separate region are taken into account. The head of the department determined the main problems of this sphere and explained how they will be resolved. The allocated funds should serve to improve and transform the material and technical base of secondary educational institutions. This includes the purchase and replacement of outdated computer equipment, installation of software, continuing work in the direction of creating maximum convenience and efficiency of using the Internet. Within the framework of the program for the implementation and provision of distance learning, 60 schools of the region will be equipped with new computer equipment. The Minister also noted that one of the important and extremely necessary points of this sphere can be considered the purchase of subject rooms and sets of training and laboratory equipment. It is supposed to get 25 chemistry rooms with full equipment and 24 sets of training and laboratory equipment for physics classes. Deputy Minister of Education Marat Shmakov noted the advantages of financing next year compared to the previous year: if in 2011 the funds received by the republic as part of the described project were sent exclusively to the current (cosmetic) repair of school buildings and to ensure the energy security of educational institutions, then in the year 2012 the received received Finances can be directed to the overhaul of buildings, eliminating significant problems. In addition, the Deputy Minister said that the plan of the measures drawn up in 2011 by the Republic of Bashkortostan as part of the project “Modernization of Education”, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation defined as one of the most successful in the country. To date, the program has already found many useful incarnations and continues to be implemented in Bashkiria. Over the past period, 823 million rubles were spent on it, of which 712 were federal budget funds, and 111 — republican.
