Certification and testing of currency exchange points are carried out according to indicators of resistance to hacking and the effects of various types of small arms. When testing points of exchange of currency on strength for the effects of small arms, standardization centers are primarily interested in such characteristics as butt joints between the glasses and the wall, between the glasses and gear rates — with the calculation that there are no gaps (gaps of no more than one millimeter are allowed ).For the puddiness of such structures, it is extremely important to observe the requirement — the gaps should be half the diameters of the bullets, or should have additional special steel pads. For the purposes of certification tests, samples are specially made (design layouts determined by the quality expert, which represent the most vulnerable in defense of the region) and are transmitted for testing. During certification according to GOST R-51112, the compliance of the applied structural characteristics, properties and elements with the requirements of the standard and the availability of basic certificates of conformity are also determined. If necessary, additional relevant tests are carried out. Depending on the certification system, the certificate can be issued to a single product, as well as for serial production. The issuance of such a certificate for products of mass production production, as well as in cases with armored vehicles, is possible with a trip to the production of an enterprise that is engaged in the manufacture of this type of banking equipment. The certificate is valid until the currency exchange point is completely disassembled, or transferred and re -collected. At the last direction of the Central Bank of Russia — if the exchange point is constantly in the same place, and there are no changes to its design (that is, there are no replacement of glasses, gear components, doors and another), then the certificate extends its effect on the entire time of operation within the boundaries of a previously determined service life of equipment, which was determined by the manufacturer. When certification of exchange points, the entire structure is usually evaluated for a specific class of armored vehicle. What class is needed for the functioning of the exchanger — it all depends on its territorial location. If the exchange point is located inside a room, for example, in a shopping center, then for its operation there is enough certificate, which confirms the first class of resistance. And if we are talking about a paragraph located on the street, then for such an object the third class of resistance to small arms is already required for such an object.
