There is a valley in the western part of the island, surrounded by the mountains of Sierra de Los Organos. Its entire area is 132 square kilometers. This is a karst valley. For millions of years, she sagged and began to represent such a unique natural phenomenon that attracts tourists from around the world. One of the unique valley is very beautiful and interesting sheer hills with flat peaks («Mogota»). Their height reaches 400 m, they are covered with vegetation and are practically inaccessible. They surround the valley and stand like giant statues. Locals lovingly call these hills «Elephants».
